Success

Today has been a day of success..not in the way of me actually gettin something done cause im def. bein a lazy bum right now but in the manner that I have heard all about the progressive steps people are making towards achieving their goals..and thats wassup. You dont get days like this everyday..usually its the same ol, nothing's changed, or worst..bad news. But not today, today is one of those days that make you evaluate where you are at in your plan for success and make sure that your moving foward as well. To begin, one of my peoples that i have known since the day i set foot in college let me kno he is on his way back to doin his thing education wise and getting back into school by jan...thats hot cause the way college is now a days, it takes so much just to step foot in there. The outrageous tuition is enough to make you close the school broshure and open the classified pages. So im happy for him cause education is always a good thing no matter what people think. Moving on, my homegirl who i have spent many a day complaining about the world and boys to found out she will be teaching this fall. Thats wonderful esp. since she is going down the same career road as me: being a teacher, so u kno i was souped for her. All of this made me think about how people accomplish what they deem important. Success is not a race. For some its full speed ahead on the first thing smokin, for others a steady speed limit, and even for some a tortoise speed but hey the tortoise did end up beatin the hare so that speed aint too bad either. It all depends on the individual and their life the way i see it. If you can be a the ruler of the universe in 10 years thats wassup, if you can do it in 8 even better but it doesnt matter cause we both wearing crowns at the end of the day. So who cares, we should be proud of one another's success and cheer each other on. Yea thats in that so called perfect world but we all kno people arent like that but the way i see it (hence my blog title) im not worried about how everyone else feels, i kno im proud of my success and anyone else, whether i kno them or not, that are doin big things. We are all gonna have those moments of jealousy, envy, and whatever ugly emotion you can think of sometimes cause shoot were human but you aint gotta make it a habit...at least i try not to. So if u doin big things, movin in the right direction, accomplishing whatever your tryin to accomplish, u get a big "carlton from fresh prince" high five from me soo keep striving cause i kno i am :), lets be each other's personal cheering squads and give a lil support nah mean...ok ok enuff of my "save the world, lets all hold hands across the world" speech lol but u get what im sayin
